This discovery might seem unconventional for Ancient Egyptian artifacts, but it's not an isolated incident. Dozens of ear steles have been unearthed, notably in the vicinity of the Great Sphinx of Giza.

During excavations in the 1930s, Dr. Selim Hasan uncovered numerous examples in and around the New Kingdom Sphinx Temple of Amenhotep II, as well as near the Sphinx monument itself.
